January News
“I Like To Stay At Home”
The holiday season is always a hustle bustle. This year we spent a week in Manhattan
visiting museums, listening to the Harlem Gospel choir, drinking great beer and
playing ping pong at the West Village bar, “Fat Cat”. Out of all this activity,
what resonates the most is the time spent with family and friends, catching up,
laughing, sharing stories around a bountiful dinner table.
Now we are well into January and here in the Laurentians it’s cold and snowy.
Days are spent stoking the fire, shovelling snow and walking in the silent forest.
It is also a time for writing new music.
What luxury to sit at the piano or pick up any one of my instruments just to see
what comes out.
I wish you all a healthy, fulfilling new year!
