As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring medical equipment operates at peak performance—supporting healthcare professionals in delivering safe and effective patient care. This hands-on position includes equipment installations, routine maintenance, urgent service calls, and ongoing system support in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and service medical or technical equipment at customer sites
Respond to emergency service requests and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems
Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
Provide exceptional support and communication to clients, representing the company professionally in the field
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field is a plus but not required
Technical diploma or associate degree from a vocational or trade school preferred
1–3 years of experience in a field service or technical support role, especially with electromechanical systems
Relevant backgrounds may include HVAC, automotive repair, electrical work, industrial machinery, or military technical training
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings
Comfortable with extensive travel—expect to be on the road 50–75% of the time
Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
