POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Administrative Application Analyst is responsible for the implementation, configuration, testing, training, ongoing support, and optimization of MEDITECH business applications, including Management Information Software (MIS) and Corporate Management Systems (CMS) within a multi-hospital health system. This role ensures seamless integrations, data integrity, and efficient system functionality, working closely with all areas of the organization such as finance, clinical focus areas, and reporting teams.

This individual will play a critical role in collaborating with hospital and corporate counterparts to define and develop the structure and solutions for MEDITECH Management Information System (MIS) application within the HSA environment. Responsibilities will include mapping out process flows, analyzing business requirements, and ensuring comprehensive solutions that align with operational, financial, and regulatory needs.

**This is a fully remote position, with minimal travel required for production deployment events, periodic training sessions, and meetings. **

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements for MEDITECH business applications, including MIS, CMS
• Assist with configuration, implementation, and optimization of the organizational structure for future state acquisitions.
• Extensive knowledge within MEDITECH MIS related to common dictionaries, monitoring utilizes, user access, Customer-defined screens, and parameters
• Manage user security settings, access controls, and account configurations within MEDITECH MIS, including setup, modification, and deactivation for appropriate access levels across financial, clinical, and administrative modules.
• Responsible for ensuring MEDITECH DR tables are aligned with our 3rd Party Integration System.
• Configure and update MEDITECH dictionaries and tables to support administrative, financial, and clinical workflows.
• Ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance with financial regulations and healthcare standards.
• Coordinate with vendors on system updates, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and testing of new functionalities to ensure seamless adoption of enhancements.
• Develop and enhance user training materials, SOPs, and documentation to optimize system utilization across departments.
• Administer and maintain MEDITECH Data Repository, ensuring data accuracy, performance tuning, and security compliance.
• Maintain CMS Workbooks and dictionary settings and decisions for maintaining standardized content.
• Other duties as required/assigned to the position

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience supporting business applications in a healthcare or corporate environment.
• Knowledge of MEDITECH, including MIS, CMS, and DR

• Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate technical solutions effectively.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, healthcare compliance standards, and data security best practices, ensuring adherence to industry requirements.
