About the Role:

The Production Planner Scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes within the non-durable goods sector. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules that align with customer demand and inventory levels, ultimately driving operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The successful candidate will analyze production data and collaborate with various departments to optimize resource allocation and minimize downtime. By forecasting production needs and adjusting schedules accordingly, the Production Planner Scheduler will contribute to meeting production targets and enhancing overall productivity. This role is essential for maintaining a seamless flow of operations and ensuring that our products are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.
  • Certification in production and inventory management (CPIM or similar).
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or production delays.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and implement improvements in scheduling processes.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on production status and address any scheduling conflicts.
