Hawk -Eye Protective Services has job openings for Unarmed Security Officers in Sunny Isles Beach, FL.

The Concierge is the initial point of contact for all phone calls and visitors inside the building. The Concierge is responsible for being professional, polite and will give guests a pleasant first experience with the community. The Concierge serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies team members of visitor arrival and maintains security and telecommunications systems within the community.

Language:

• English & Spanish (Required)
• No security license no problem!!!!

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Maintains a professional personal presentation
• Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
• The concierge is our Ambassador of First impressions!!!
• Takes detailed messages with name, date, time and return phone number
• Ensures team members receive their phone messages promptly
• Maintains knowledge of who is available to receive an inquiry or host a tour
• Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring log books to include visitor sign in and sign out
• Maintains safe and clean reception, lobby and Welcome Room areas by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Receive and sort mail for Leadership Team
• Report all accidents and incidents as soon as possible to your supervisor, no matter how minor
• Maintain the confidentiality of residents’ personal care information

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications to include Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, team members, residents, family members, vendors, referral sources and outside contacts
• Able to make independent decisions
• Must be able to communicate in a warm, friendly and caring manner
• Must possess a passion to work with and around senior citizens
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

Many of our Officers are off-duty Policemen working in Cities which allow their Officers to also work part-time for Private Security Companies. Other employees are former military or former Law Enforcement employees. We work hard to recruit and employ Veterans, females and minorities. All new employees are drug-tested and go through rigorous training both at Hawk-Eye’s Corporate Training Center as well as on-the-job
