We’re Making A Video

A couple of days ago we shot a new video. Erica Pomerance, a wonderful documentary filmmaker who happens to be a dear friend, shot the event. Richard Belanger, the engineer for many of my projects, another old friend, (we’re all OLD friends nowadays) did the sound. Some newer old friends lent us their cozy log house and beautiful Mason and Risch grand piano for the day. It was another bright, clear freezing day, but with a fire in the wood stove, the pipes eventually unfroze and with a pot of strong coffee and the sun streaming in we were toasty warm.

The performances were all solos. On the piano, “Should Be Happy” and “Boogie Man”. On the fiddle, “Corina”.

We had a great time, it is always a pleasure to work with people I love who happen to be extremely talented in their fields and totally get what I do. The clips will soon be available on YouTube and my new website alangerbersongs.com
