Currently seeking to hire day shift and afternoon shift assemblers/general labourers for a facility in Aurora, ON. Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.

Duties:

• Use hand tools and power tools to prepare, drill, nail, and assemble plastic bins (recycling and garbage bins)
• Possible assistance with the machine operators, such us moving materials, unloading machines, etc.
• Possible operation of machinery to cut, bend, mold, rivet industrial plastic pieces
• Cleaning workshop and machinery, minor maintenance as needed
• Assist in shipping sometimes with stacking/packing/wrapping skids
• Other related production duties as required
• Other duties required by supervisor/manager/team lead

Qualifications:

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Machine operation experience
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to do heavy lifting
• Good verbal/written communication skills in English
• Basic Math Skills
• Willingness and ability to learn/use hand and power tools is a must
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable standing or sitting for long periods
• Have safety steel toed shoes
• Some of the lifting will be over head, must be able to lift over head for a period of time until the bin is assembled (you will be working in a team of 4 when doing this)

• Training on Day shift 7am to 3:30pm
• Afternoon shift 3:15 to 11:45pm
