DOODAH

By A. Gerber, R. Kempf & R. Hutchinson

Sometime I do my duty, sometimes I do the job.
Sometime I do nothing but cheat, lie and rob.
Sometime I do the talking, sometimes I pave the way
And sometime I just do the doodah all day.

I do the doodah all day
I do the doodah all day
I tune it all out, make the world go away
I doodah, doodah, doodah all day.

Sometime I make the money, sometime I take the prize.
I could be in bed by ten or an hour before sunrise.
Sometime i like to dance, sometime I need to pray
And sometimes I just do the doodah all day.

I do the doodah all day
I do the doodah all day
I don’t care what people think, no I don’t care what they say
I doodah, doodah, doodah all day

Sometime I like the sunshine, sometime I like the shade.
I could be chuggin’ Jack Daniels or sippin’ lemonade.
Sometime I go to the movies, sometime I write the play
And sometime I just do the doodah all day.

I do the doodah all day
I do the doodah all day
It don’t matter to me if the blue skies turn grey
I doodah, doodah, doodah all day

It’s on my agenda there’s no time to delay
I doodah, doodah, doodah , doohah,doodah,doodah
I doodah, doodah, doodah all day…. I do
